The app doesn't detect sound

Make sure you have granted microphone access in Settings → Privacy → Microphone → Fretica.

The tuner seems inaccurate

Make sure you have selected the correct instrument. Fretica optimizes its tuning detection based on the selected instrument — switching to the right one will significantly improve accuracy and responsiveness.

The tuner doesn't react fast enough / misses notes while playing

By default, the tuner uses a stabilized mode to display notes more steadily. For faster response while playing, press and hold the tuner display to activate Live mode — the tuner will react instantly to every note. Press and hold again to return to stabilized mode.

The suggested chord fingering feels impossible to play

Fretica offers fingerings for over 500 chords per instrument, for a total of thousands across all standard instruments. Most are verified and playable, but a few may have slipped through. If you find one that doesn't feel right, feel free to leave a note in the App Store reviews.

I purchased Premium but lost access

Go to Settings inside the app and tap "Restore purchases".
